Start with today.

I want you to start feeling good. I want you to start letting go, feeling free, light, happy and I want it to start today.

I want you to let go of your judgements on yourself, of your criticisms. I want you to walk away from your fears and stand up to your dreams. I want you to feel fulfilled and not negative. I want, want, want...it all.

I hope for the best for this world, for you and for me. I hope that everyone stops being so hard on themselves, that people let go of the past because it baracades the future. I want people to be happy. So very happy. However, there are some steps to getting there, as difficult as they seem.

Ever feel like you have too much on your plate? As if you’ve taken too many things on, trying to impressive and please too many people. The overwhelming and overpowering feeling the world is just too much to handle. You don't seem to measure up, you never meet other's expectations. Your current relationships are shaped around past relationships that we find too difficult to let go. "I'm just not enough," you keep telling yourself.

I get it. We all get it. We all feel it, experience it. You are not alone. Here are some tips I read through today to help you realize and consider what you should maybe be giving up. A few thoughts and tips on the things we should let go of, in order to make room for so much more.

Think it over, let it sit with you. They felt impactful for me. Sometimes we need to be reminded that it's ok to let go, that at the end of it all, even the unknown, isn't so scary.

Happiness is within your reach.

Things you should give up in order to be happy

Give up your need for control. Be willing to give up your need to always control everything that happens to you and around you – situations, events, people, etc. Whether they are loved ones, coworkers, or just strangers you meet on the street – just allow them to be. Allow everything and everyone to be just as they are and you will see how much better will that make you feel.

“By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond winning.” Lao Tzu
Give up on blame. Give up on your need to blame others for what you have or don’t have, for what you feel or don’t feel. Stop giving your powers away and start taking responsibility for your life.

Give up your self-defeating self-talk. Oh my. How many people are hurting themselves because of their negative, polluted and repetitive self-defeating mindset? Don’t believe everything that your mind is telling you – especially if it’s negative and self-defeating. You are better than that.

“The mind is a superb instrument if used rightly. Used wrongly, however, it becomes very destructive.” Eckhart Tolle

Give up your limiting beliefs about what you can or cannot do, about what is possible or impossible. From now on, you are no longer going to allow your limiting beliefs to keep you stuck in the wrong place. Spread your wings and fly!

“A belief is not an idea held by the mind, it is an idea that holds the mind” Elly Roselle

Give up complaining. Give up your constant need to complain about those many, many, many things – people, situations, events that make you unhappy, sad and depressed. Nobody can make you unhappy; no situation can make you sad or miserable unless you allow it to. It’s not the situation that triggers those feelings in you, but how you choose to look at it. Never underestimate the power of positive thinking.
Give up the luxury of criticism. Give up your need to criticize things, events or people that are different than you. We are all different, yet we are all the same. We all want to be happy, we all want to love and be loved and we all want to be understood. We all want something, and something is wished by us all.

Give up your need to impress others. Stop trying so hard to be something that you’re not just to make others like you. It doesn’t work this way. The moment you stop trying so hard to be something that you’re not, the moment you take of all your masks, the moment you accept and embrace the real you, you will find people will be drawn to you, effortlessly.

Give up your resistance to change. Change is good. Change will help you move from A to B. Change will help you make improvements in your life and also the lives of those around you. Follow your bliss, embrace change – don’t resist it.

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors for you where there were only walls” Joseph Campbell

Give up on your fears. Fear is just an illusion, it doesn’t exist – you created it. It’s all in your mind. Correct the inside and the outside will fall into place.

“The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.” Franklin D. Roosevelt
Give up your excuses. Send them packing and tell them they’re fired. You no longer need them. A lot of times we limit ourselves because of the many excuses we use. Instead of growing and working on improving ourselves and our lives, we get stuck, lying to ourselves, using all kind of excuses – excuses that 99.9% of the time are not even real.

Give up the past. I know, I know. It’s hard. Especially when the past looks so much better than the present and the future looks so frightening, but you have to take into consideration the fact that the present moment is all you have and all you will ever have. The past you are now longing for – the past that you are now dreaming about – was ignored by you when it was present. Stop deluding yourself. Be present in everything you do and enjoy life. After all life is a journey not a destination. Have a clear vision for the future, prepare yourself, but always be present in the now.

Give up living your life to other people’s expectations. Way too many people are living a life that is not theirs to live. They live their lives according to what others think is best for them, they live their lives according to what their parents think is best for them, to what their friends, their enemies and their teachers, their government and the media think is best for them. They ignore their inner voice, that inner calling. They are so busy with pleasing everybody, with living up to other people’s expectations, that they lose control over their lives. They forget what makes them happy, what they want, what they need….and eventually they forget about themselves.  You have one life – this one right now – you must live it, own it, and especially don’t let other people’s opinions distract you from your path.

Drop the stress, the worries, the tears and all of your fears.

Ok. The obsessions need to stop.

The worries, the fears, the over powering ideas and ever-so controlling ideas – drop it. Leave them behind. We come from a world that wants to define us on how we look, how we act, where we come from, what our parents look like – but guess what? That’s all bull crap. Straight up, bull crap. We let go of the idea that skinny is beautiful, and now want everyone to believe that strong is beautiful – but you know what is beautiful? Healthy. Healthy is beautiful. Someone who looks after their body, has clarity that eating a brownie won’t kill them, and exercising regularly is perfect.

Stop obsessing over working out. Stop thinking that a rest day or two or three will set your training back. That a cheat day will completely throw off your whole diet and the control you have over it. Let go of the belief that not going to the gym three days in a row will in fact make you put on 10 pounds, that everyone can see – including your boyfriend.

It’s false. It’s an idea. An over-powering worry. We have gone from obsessing over our weight, the size of our thighs, every little bit about us – to obsessing over how much we work out, how often we are lifting, how we absolutely cannot eat that brownie, because in fact…it will make the world fall apart.

So stop the obsessions, the worries, the fears. We need to take a stand to be healthy, to let living in fear be in the past and start living through clear eyes. That we are perfect, just as we are. That bodies are made differently, built differently and will forever weigh differently from each other – this is what makes us perfect.

Healthy – a healthy diet and a healthy body all start…with a healthy mind. So start to think about loving yourself. Not just saying it or wanting to love yourself…really going deep and thinking about all the different amazing things there are about you – because believe me, there are a thousand little amazing things about you, that make up a unique, wonderful you.

So throw everything you’ve been told out the window, even this if you want to – but just promise me you won’t be so hard on yourself, on your diet, on your training, and especially on your body. You work it hard and drive it into the ground, and it still wakes up the next morning waiting for another hit.

We are blessed to be who we are, where we are and have what we have – which is more than enough and more than we actually need. So throw it out – all your previous beliefs about how you should think, look, act, eat, train, sleep, believe. Everything. Just be you – and stop worrying about all the little things and all the ways you think you should be.
You are wonderful just as your are. So stop worrying, stressing, being fearful for it only brings you down.

What we need here…is something that brings us up. To help bring others up. Happiness and love is contagious. So spread it. But just make sure, it starts with you.
To love you, is hard. But it’s the first step that needs to be taken. Stop worrying about others, and start thinking about you. People have seemed to control just about everything in the past.

Right here, right now – starts with YOU.

Be thankful.

We'll start with a photo...

A simple message - that's it - that's all. It's really that easy, that simple. Be thankful. Realize you are here, right now, and how big of a blessing that is. Be thankful for the people in your life, the one's who have stuck by you, who have stayed by your side through your grumpy times and bad times....be thankful. And let them know it. Let people know you appreciate them, that you care. We sometimes over look the people who care about us most...

Show people you love them, let them know how much you care. Be thankful to be here...right here, right now - in this moment.  You're alive - get after it! Whatever IT is that YOU want. Get it!

It's gotta start with you.

It's been awhile, I've been busy and flustered with life....it's keeping me on my toes. I thought I'd start this blog post off with someone else's words of wisdom.

"See, the only thing you can control is your attitude. You can explode or you can laugh. You can fall or you can rise. You can hurt or you can help. Pick what you're going to do and don't be surprised when your attitude picks your accomplishments." - CrossFit Lisbeth

Your life, your relationships, your work, your day, even this moment ...is going to be whatever you make it be. It can be stressful, a big deal, a burden... Or you can laugh it off, take it as it is and learn from it.

I know what I want - I want to choose to be optimistic, I want to chose to be happy, to be confident. Becaus at the end of the day... My voice in my head is the only one I hear, so I need encouraging words and happy thoughs and loving feelings - and those sure as heck aren't going to come from an angry, frustrated, pessimistic person. And really? Who wants to surround themselves with downers, people who turn every situation into a tragedy and only see failing results.

Not me.

I want better, I want more - and I will get it cause I deserve it. Because who I am, how I handle the things, the people and the places that happen to me - I can control.

When the world throws you a curve ball? Are you going to hide away - or dive for it? Are you going to sulk in the corner or are you going to experience something different, choose better thoughts, treat others better.

Sometimes, you need to be that ray of sunshine for someone else, you never know how much someone might need it. To spread the love, the warmth, a smile...it goes a long way and it tends to start a contagious action.
At the end of the day, when your whole life seems gray and dull and stressed - just remember to breathe. That when the world gets dark... That's when you can see the stars. Amongst all the hate, the anger, the stress in the world - there is hope for a better day, a better world.

You can help make it that - but it has to start with you. Your actions, your words, your thoughts. Choose to be better.

How are you going to handle this moment - right now? With open arms I hope.

If you never ask..

If you don't try, you'll never know.
If you don't go after what you want,
you'll never get it
...and if you never ask,
the answer will always be no.

It's that simple.

You really do get what and how much you put in. If you want something and yet never try, never practice, never actually go after it, and complain that it's outside your reach...realize that you've never taken a step in the right direction. If you put all of your eggs in one basket and things fall through? Well then you might be left with nothing. So what? You took a risk, you did something you wanted, something you believed in. You actually did something for YOU. You gained so much more than never actually pursuing a dream, a goal, a desire. You went after what you wanted.

It's the simplicity of things. We want, want, want...think we need and beat ourselves up because we cant have it, cant do it, can't be it. But have you ever actually put yourself out there and tried? How many times have you failed? Sometimes, it's getting knocked down 5 times and about standing up 6. When things get rough, we learn, we grow...to be push down and stand right back up, show how badly we want something.
Have you actually gone out of your comfort zone and tried something different? Done something you want, for you and not for anyone else. Without fear of others, judgements,  failing? How much you put in, is how much you will get out. Sometimes things are tough...challenging, frustrating, difficult. Somethings you have to work hard for. So what? You do it. You work hard, you go after what you want. You do something about what YOU want. And that will make all the difference.

Things aren't just going to happen to you. People aren't just going to happen to you. We have to go out and make things happen. If you're sick of your job, friends, a sticky situation...get out and run. Stop settling for less than you deserve and thinking this is all it will ever be. Because there is more, so much more and you deserve more. You know YOU want more. So get off your butt and go get it! Realize what you want and grasp it, with both hands.

And when you get it, don't let it go.

** Sometimes..it's all about the experiences. They might be challenging, hard, difficult, saddening, heartbreaking, strengthening, rich, and powerful. Experiences are everything. Sometimes we fail, sometimes we succeed. If we never try, we never know. And if we never move forward, we will always be stuck in the same spot. Do you want more? Do you deserve more? We all do. It's realizing this that is great. The power that comes from going after what you want, gaining new experiences...and sometimes, sometimes failing. It's the experiences that are worth remembering. They will change us, shape us...make us. Experiences are rich and worth every penny you put in.

Don't give up.

“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever. That surrender, even the smallest act of giving up, stays with me. So when I feel like quitting, I ask myself, which would I rather live with?”

Just think about it...which would you rather? When you think back on something, which feeling would you rather sit with, reflect on...which would you regret? Take a step, take a leap...just don't give up.

Shine.

So don't you worry your pretty little mind, people throw rocks at things that shine.

Taylor Swift said it right. People are scared of the unknown, they fear what is different. A different opinion, a different mind, a different style...it might not match our own, so instantly, we reject it. Don't let others put you down with their endless judgements. We all are too quick to judge. Too fast at cutting people off. We don't care enough to learn more, to experience something different, something bigger and maybe even something greater than ourselves.

We tend to be happy where we are, perhaps not moving forward, experiencing new and different things. We are comfortable with the known, with the simple.

They do it, we do it, you do it. We are all too quick to judge. So don't worry about what other people think, or what other people say...it's part of life, it's going to happen. Just be you and be absolutely happy with that. For what others might think about you, or say about you, or how they judge you...doesn't define who you are.

Be true to you. For people fear the unknown. They are scared of what they don't know, what they don't understand...what is different. We are all the same. We shut it out, push it away and reject it.

So don't fear rejection, don't fear to be different or expressive. Life is about changing things, about experiencing the unknown. Don't be afraid to be you and shine. Show your talents, show your personality, show the world who you are. And the world will see you shine.

"Replace fear of the unknown with curiosity."

It's all within you.

Pain is inevitable.
Suffering is optional.
How do you handle the hard stuff? How do you feel with set backs, with let downs, with heart break? The truth is, they are a part of life. You get one step ahead, only to fall four steps behind. And for what? Do you give up, throw in the towel, say no more trying, no more falling in love, no more studying. Just like that? You'd let it all go?

Life is about how we handle the hard stuff. We're all going to fall down, trip, take three steps back in the wrong direction, that is life. And it's a known fact that things can get tough, and dark and messy.  So what are you going to do? Sulk in the corner, play the victim for another day and feel sorry for yourself? Of course you can do that. But it's not going to make your situation any better, by sitting there, worrying and stressing on all the 'wrong' things in your life.
If you push away the dark, and the bad and the messy, shove it all in one corner, think about it, worry about it....then let it go. Sure, it might stay in the back of your mind, but it won't be constantly weighing you down. And why? Because behind all the dark, and the bad and the messy stuff, is all the good stuff. All the things we've been taking for granted, that friend, that guy or that girl....our job we never took too seriously. The truth is, maybe we don't have it so bad after all. When there is abuse in households, children starving halfway around the world, poverty in different countries, where do you stand?

Life is pretty darn good. And sure we fall, and we break down and we cry and we want to give up. But that's life. We are handled the struggles and pain, to make us stronger. We are only given what we can handle, and it aids to making our lives that much brighter. It causes us to look past the bad stuff and really realize everything that is good is already around us and within arms reach.

So you're constantly coming in second. Feel like you're not as pretty, as strong, or as nice as someone else. Stop thinking that way. Stop wanting people to like you as much as they like someone else. Stop comparing yourself and stop making excuses. Half the time, we push ourself and try that much harder because we have competition in our lives. Competition can be a good thing. Without it, you wouldn't push or try as hard. Maybe you fell down, and so what? Didn't you get right back up, kept trying, kept pushing. I bet you did, because you wanted something, you needed something. And without that competition, maybe it wouldn't have meant so much, been so enticing. Without that competition...maybe you wouldn't have tried at all.

So be thankful. For all your experiences, struggles, memories. They make up your beautiful life.

Stop comparing your life, your body, your hair, your personality. We are made uniquely different, because the world is different. We have different emotions, different reactions, that is what makes us beautiful and perfect. That is what makes up who we are. Don't try to change that or compare it. You're perfect, just as you are. With all of your experiences, struggled and triumphs. They are perfectly you.

So next time you fall and scrape your knee, the next time you are hurt or down in the dumps...remember it will be ok. There are better things out there, and reasons to why you're experiencing it. Sure, get angry, curse at the gods, it will probably make you feel better. But then forgive. Forgive the world for turning it's back on you, for letting you down. Forgive your parents, your friends, your boyfriend or girlfriend...just forgive the world, for what you think is causing all of the problems in your life. You have control, you get to decide how you handle it. So push past it, look at the bright side...it's there, shinning and waiting for you to finally realize it's been there all along.

We sometimes go through the bad, to help us realize the good.

So handle it how you may, but I hope at the end of the day you don't give up and you decide to be strong, because you are strong. I hope you push past the dark moments and the messy times, and forgive quickly. For when you let go of the hate, resentment and fear, when you let go of the being the victim in your own life, for there you will blossom. Your life is beautiful, and full of power.

Realize it.

It's all within you.

Get real. Right here, right now.

‎"Life comes with no guarantees, no timeouts, no second chances, you just have to live life to the fullest, tell someone what they mean to you, tell someone off, speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort a friend, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up late, be kind and smile until your face hurts. Don't be afraid to fall in love, don’t be afraid to fall and most of all, live in the moment, every second you spend angry or upset is a second of happiness you can never get back."

We need to live in the moment, be present, be here. We spend a lot of time worrying about tomorrow or the things we said today or yesterday and how we wish we could change the past. But the thing is, we can’t. We can’t change the things that have happened and for the most part, we can’t control the things that happen to us. What we can control? Is how we react and act in this moment, right here, right now. We need to make the active decision to make the best out of everything. To find the best in everything that life throws at us. We control our actions, our thoughts. We have the power to make things good, even when things aren't going our way.

"I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person on how they handle three things: a rainy day, lost luggage and tangled Christmas tree lights."

We all look forward to big occasions, big moments, accomplishing big goals…but what it comes down to at the end of it all, are the little moments. The ones that build up the big ones. So stop focusing so much on finishing and actually realize what you are going through. The journey, what you're doing, moving forward, moving backwards, every bit of it. Enjoy what you are going through. Don't make it bad, don't make it anything. Just realize where you are and appreciate the fact that you've come this far. Feel happiness, feel pain. Stop and smell the flowers, stop rushing and take your time to understand where you are and really see and feel things. People these days are so afraid to feel, show emotion, be caring and kind. It's like anger and unhappiness are powerful, but they aren't. They hold you down, hold you back. You will never grow if you continue to carry around your baggage everywhere you go. People will see it on you, feel it. So let it go, be real, be appreciative, be emotional. Feel this moment right now, right here. Maybe you fail a few times before you succeed, that makes it all so much more worthwhile.

So be present to right here, right now, these words. They are the truth and I want you to realize this is real. Your life, your love, your failures and accomplishments, they make up the big picture. It isn’t always about the big things that matter, it’s the little steps, little leaps and little falls we take along the way. They are so important to remember. The little things are the most important. The small memories are always my favorite. The smallest of gestures tend to be the ones I remember the most.

So feel alive, feel the moment, it’s here and it’s leaving quickly. So be real to your people, be true to yourself and always, always, always, listen before you speak. Get in your life and realize it's happening. Don't rush it, don't weigh it down. Just realize you're living it and it's beautiful.

Success.

"Success often comes to those who dare to act. It seldom goes to the timid, who are ever afraid of the consequences."

Do not fear failure. Do not fear falling down. Do not fear success. And do not fear getting back up again.

For life has it's up and downs, and we all go through them. Some days are good, while others aren't. We have daily struggles that slow us down, and make it harder to finish the day. But we do, we finish, and most of the time we finish with a smile on our face and love in our hearts. So do not fear failure, do not be afraid of falling down, of messing up, making a mistake. For this is where we learn, we grow, we understand life through the eyes of experience. We need these experience to grow, to relate, to understand, to really accept success with compassion and happiness.
So do not be afrad to succeed, to do well at something. When someone says you can't? Show them you can. If you're telling yourself you can't, that's all you're ever going to do. We are generally our own worst critic. Stop this act, stop putting yourself down and start bringing yourself up. We need to start being our own biggest fan. To start the day of right, loving ourself, filled with hope and ready soar. For most of the time, we might fall, but that experience is worth the risk. For when we succeed, hit a goal, experience something we truly want, we win.

So choose to succeed, to go after what you want. You deserve it. Don't be afraid what others might think or say, for they forever will be saying things. Don't be afraid to shine, in fear others might not like it. Do not worry about others, for their time to shine is coming near.

We all shine, in our own ways, all at different times. It's life. We each deserve happiness and love and success. For we cannot reach success, understand success, appreciate success, without failure.

So what?

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
Most of our days are spent wasted, dreaming, hoping, wishing...never actually doing. We spend most of our days regretting not putting ourselves out there, trying something new, pushing ourselves, and for what? What are we losing by not simply 'going for it'? Everything. And what can we gain by just simply 'going for it'? Everything.

So the answer is simple. Stop living life in fear, fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of not being acceptable, applauded, appreciated. What you did was bigger and better than what half the people are doing today, you actually did something, you actually got out there. So you fell down, so you didn't win, or you didn't come 1st, or 2nd, or 3rd, you came last...who cares? So you fail once, doesn't mean you're going to fail every time. It's through our triumphs and our failures that we learn the most about ourselves. It takes a big man to win, but it also takes a big man to lose.

"If you are not big enough to lose...you are too small to win."

So what if you fail? What if you don't win? What if you fall flat on your face? So what? Does it define you? Absolutely not.

This is a lesson, a test of who you are and what you are capable of. The fact that you stepped foot into something different, something challenging, something new, something you wanted to go for..is an accomplishment in itself. What you did is great and powerful. You should be proud, holding your head up high.

Life is about learning. It is about winning and about failing. It's about understanding and experiences.

So what? What do you really have to lose?

Absolutely nothing.

Happiness.

"Ask most people what they want out of life and the answer is simple – to be happy. Maybe it’s this expectation, though, the wanting to be happy that just keeps us from ever getting there. Maybe the more we try and will ourselves to states of bliss, the more confused we get to the point where we don’t recognize ourselves. Instead, we just keep smiling trying like hell to be the happy people we wish we were until, eventually, it hits us. It’s been there all along. Not in our dreams or hopes, but in the known, the comfortable, the familiar."
Sometimes our goals are to be successful, to pass a test, to run a marathon, to do something big and huge and different. We want to change our lives, advance them, evolve in this ever changing world. But sometimes, the simplest of things and the most difficult, is to choose the goal to be happy. To advance into our situation with ease and positivity. To walk into a room, with your head held high and a smile beaming from ear to ear.

Sometimes, happiness can change everything. We don't realize the impact our happiness and our lives has on others. A negative comment, a negative action, can in turn put someone else down. This world isn't full of a million YOU's or a million ME's, this world is filled with a million, billion, different people. And our actions don't just affect us, they affect everyone.

Be aware of your actions and the power you have over others. The way you think, feel, love...doesn't just affect you. Take responsibility for your actions and choose to take the high road.

Choose to be positive, to love deeply and forgive quickly. Life is far too short to wait for things to happen. To wait for the right moment, right person...stop waiting. Stop searching. Things are right here, right in front of you. Happiness is a decision, it's an easy one to make.
So take a moment, let your negative thoughts flow, mumble to yourself - then let everything go. Be strong, be positive. You got this.

This is your life, your world. Paint it with happiness and people and things that you love. People and things and hobbies that make you happy. If you are doing things you love, the things that make you happy and laugh. To surround yourself with people who do nothing more than fill your heart with warm and fuzzies, YOU HAVE WON the battle. That is the main goal of life, to be happy with everything you have.

Not happy? Things aren't enough? Stop complaining and change something. This world is yours and the power you posses is endless. Surround yourself with all the things you please. The people who matter, won't mind, and the people who mind, don't matter. So stop listening to the negative people, to the negative voice inside your head. Surround yourself with love. And happiness is soon to follow.

Those cards you've been dealt, they are enough.

55 Flavors...and then some.

"Happy girls are the prettiest girls."

I want to know whoever told you can't.

I want to know who it was that sat you down and told you you weren't good enough, or smart enough, or strong enough. I want to know where all these stories came from..all the bad thoughts that flood our minds, and our confidence, and create a blurry and fuzzy and horrible misconception of who and what we are.

I want to know where all those bad feelings started from, and I want you to know the truth. That you are perfect, just as you are. Most of our days, it feels like we are fighting to survive. Not just fighting against our lives, our relationships, our families, our work and sometimes even strangers...a lot of the time were fighting with ourselves.

The way we feel about ourselves isn't because of what other people think, it's because of what we think. And I want to know when you started thinking this way. That you can't, you won't, and you never, ever will make it. That you don't deserve happiness.

Because you do.

So when did this start? When did you let all the little thoughts, stories and beliefs take control of your presence and ultimately control your future. You let them control your life, your decisions, your relationships - But no longer.

Whoever told you you aren't good enough, is full of crap. Half the time, other people put us down in order to rise themselves up. We all have bad days, fat days, sad days. Days that are ultimately harder than the one before, to make it from beginning to end. This is life. It is tough, but it is beautiful. And so are you.

We are all different, built not identically, but completely different. One moment I just realized: every body is built their own way, has their own strengths, own flaws, own beauty. We are meant to be different.

Just because you aren't tall and thin, doesn't mean you're not perfect.

Just because she is beautiful, doesn't make you not beautiful.

Maybe you're curvy, shorter than others, or more muscular, or more thin...don't make it bad, make it good. We are meant to be different. The world works this way. We are all attracted to different things and different people. We all have our own tastes. If we didn't, we all would want the same things, go for the same people and the world would have no originality. We need our differences to keep the world fresh, full of flavor, ever changing, constant, and independent.

So those stories, those bad thoughts, stop believing in them. Stop letting them tell you how you should feel. Don't make it bad, make it good. You have that power to shut it out. To let go of the baggage you've been holding onto. To realize exactly as you are, is perfect. There is no 'ideal' beauty, no matter what society, or pop culture or magazines will say. You are fabulous and perfect and flawed. It is those flaws that make us original.

And we shouldn't want it any other way.

Your Plans.

****
You need to always have faith. We spend our days and our lives planning. Planning for the next best thing, the next big event, where we will want to go next week and what we want to do in the next 10 years. We plan out our lives and we hope everything works smoothly like clock work.

Unfortunately, half the time, things don't go according to our plans. Our ideas sometimes don't work out, we don't reach our goals, we don't go where we wanted to go. Sometimes people turn our differently then how we thought they 'should' be. Things are exactly as they are meant to be. Just because we had this perfect idea for our lives, doesn't mean the way things work out, isn't perfect. Just because your relationship ended, or your job isn't right, or your life isn't going according to plan, that isn't ample enough of an excuse to give up. You keep trying, you keep pushing, you have faith that things are going to work out, exactly as they should.

Because they always, always, always do.

Your life may be falling apart, you may have bit off way more than you can chew, but sit tight, things will be ok. You might have this big intention and big expectations for your life. Maybe things don't work out like how you'd like them to. So what? Who say's what's in store for you won't be a million times better, more fulfilling, and rewarding.

So maybe you've been defeated, do you give up? Absolutely not. We meet people for the right reason, and we lose some for the wrong. We go places we shouldn't go, and sometimes we are held in place, no longer moving forward in life. This is life, it happens. Keep planning, keep dreaming, keep pushing. Just because something might not have worked out once, or twice, or three times...Do you give up? Never.

Life happens, it unfolds exactly as it should. So have faith, things ARE working out, they will work out and if at the end of the day, you aren't smiling, change something. Know that in the end, you will be smiling, filled with faith and your life will be utterly compete and beautiful.

"Everything works out in the end.

If it doesn't feel right, it isn't the end."

I'm ready to fight for my life, for the good, for the beautiful, because good things happen, and they will always keep happening, whether I'm ready or not. That is the beauty of it all, I might need a break, a time out, a little rest and relaxation, and life will still be stirring behind me, in front of me, everywhere. Life is always happening, and we need to do what WE want to do. So puzzle me this - what do you want out of your life? What are you dreaming about? Hoping for? What makes you get out of bed in the morning....

I bet it's something powerful, beautiful and breathtaking. I hope it fills your days with endless happiness. Keep fighting, keep pushing, you are so close.

Exactly as it is meant to.

"We wait. And as we wait, time passes us. Quicker than the moment before. We waste our days waiting. Waiting for others, waiting for more. This is it, everything you could ever have is right in front of you. You can't wait for someone else to be ready to start a life, to move forward, to accomplish a dream. This is your world, your dreams, your life. Define it how you like"

I came to this realization today, while sitting in bed after an exhausting morning and afternoon. Life happens. It's as simple as that. That we can run around our days, weeks, months, planning, planning, planning, and half the time, our lives don't work out according to plans.

We hope, we wish, we plan, we push, and yet... life unfolds exactly as it is meant to. Half the time we spend our days wasted away worrying about the future, or thinking too much about the past and not actually being present to exactly where we are. This is it, this is life. And I realized, that sometimes we get too caught up in the little things, the passing moments, all the plans and things we want to achieve, that we don't spend our time actually IN the moment. And that's ok. Because those moments that were running around like a chicken with our heads cut off, so busy and busting around, these are our moments, this is our life. Every moment we are building up to, is for right here and right now.

And how you feel, is exactly how you are supposed to feel.

Sometimes we get cranky, we get angry, we get tired. Sometimes we get exhausted and overworked and burnt it. It happens, so what? We get some rest, we take some time, for ourselves, to reconnect to who we are, what we what and what we need. From there, we hop right back into the busy mess that is our lives.

Our lives are made up of all the little moments. We think big events, or big moments, or big goals being accomplished are what life is about - no, no. Our lives are about the moments in between. The imperfections, the frustrations, the over coming of obstacles and picking yourself up from when you fall down, or come off course. It's all the big moments, and everything in between.

That is life. And it is perfect, and fabulous in all the right ways. The imperfections and busy-ness and noise, it's all there to complete your life, to help make it powerful and full of life.

That's the secret: to be happy in everything you do. Because happiness isn't a destination, it's a life long journey, and for some, it's a life long challenge, something they have to work at. And I hope you work at it, because you deserve to be happy, and fulfilled and excited about every day.

"I'm excited about my life. For my relationships, my accomplishments, my failures. I'm excited to learn and grow and be me. But I'm not going to worry about how everything will turn out, or let my past define my future. This is my life, exactly as it is meant to be. And I won't waste any of it by getting stuck in the past, or moving too fast into my future."

So just be still, and embrace. This is your day, your moment, your life. And maybe you're too busy to realize it right now, running around trying to get everything done, to please everyone, to check everything off your list, and that's ok. Just as long as you realize it. Your life is exactly as it is meant to be, on a fast pace, moving forward, perfectly in motion...
This life is yours, define it exactly as you would like to. It is perfect, with all it's imperfections and troubles, and triumphs and happiness and fears. Just perfect.

You are just perfect.  Your life, is just perfect, exactly as it is.

Life will always keep moving, so make sure you keep up. And always make sure, your life is happy. That you are happy. And if you find that you are not, take a step back from your busy, little life and realize you are big. You are powerful. Change what doesn't work for you. And keep on trucking. Don't worry about the future, or fret about the past because everything will and does workout, for the best. Trust this. It's ok to get caught up in your life, in the big moments and the excitement and worries about the future, because this is your life. Unfolding exactly as it should be.

This is the road you were supposed to take.
